Buckhead’s fast, free shuttle service

FAST, FREE and FREQUENT service – every 8 to 20 minutes during designated times
RELIABLE service Monday – Friday during peak commute hours and at lunchtime
Ride "the buc." It will: - Connect you directly to MARTA’s rail service – making commuting to work using transit even easier – even by bike!
- Provide a new way for Buckhead’s residents, visitors and workers to get to and from meetings, conventions, lunch and shopping destinations.
- Allow you to leave the driving to someone else -- reducing stress and road rage.
- Make it easier for those without a car (carpoolers, vanpoolers or transit riders) to get about during the day.
"The buc" will be brought to you FREE OF CHARGE! This could not have happened without the collaboration of many organizations, working together to ease the stress and strain of Buckhead’s phenomenal growth: - The Buckhead Community Improvement District (BCID), a self-taxing entity created voluntarily by area property owners, committed nearly $1.5 million to leverage federal funding.
- The Buckhead Area Transportation Management Association (BATMA), a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting alternative modes of travel, guided the technical development and planning of the system.
- The Georgia Regional Transportation Authority serves as the conduit for the funding.
- MARTA provides access to its compressed natural gas refueling facilities for the shuttle system.
All buses are ADA accessible and lift equipped.
